It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later

Happy Monday! Did everyone have a great weekend? I still feel like I am recovering! On saturday I was able to celebrate a new milestone for one of my best friends. Rachel. Over the last couple of years I have really watched her grow with school, work, traveling and life. She just graduated from grad school and had her mind set on moving to Boston, MA. I look up to her for doing that, for finding a job and a place to live in a city that is so unfamiliar. I have always wanted to move, but Im way too scared to move away from my family and friends. That’s why I look up to her, she set her sights on a new city and has a brand new job and apartment and moves wednesday! I am so so proud of her and excited for this new chapter in her life. Her sister Lauren threw an amazing surprise party for her on saturday! It was so wonderful to be with all of my best girlfriends, there boyfriends and husbands all in one place. Not only that, but people I haven’t seen in years and friends of Rachel’s i’ve never met. It really is special to see how loved one of your friends is and for all these people in her family and her friends to come together and celebrate her. It was kind of bittersweet because we knew there was a goodbye coming at the end of the night. The more and more we drank the more emotional we got. She expressed that we were her safety net and that she was scared. We kept reassuring her that we will always be there no matter where she lives we and Chicago will always be here for her to come back to and that we are so overjoyed with this new step she is taking in her life! With social media, facetime, texting there are so many ways to stay connected. I have also never been to Boston and there are so many places on the east coast I want to visit, so rest assured Rach I will be visiting you very often! To my friend of 15 years, another fellow aquarian, someone I’ve celebrated countless Birthday’s with, some of the most awkward times in our lives (junior high and high school), going to college in Iowa and being just a short car ride away, breakups, loss of family members, the list could go on and now a move to Boston! You have always been there for me and I will always be there for you. I cannot wait to follow along on your new journey and hear all about your new experience. Good luck my sweet I know amazing things are ahead! We love you and remember we will always be here for you.
I got a little sappy there, but I am one of the luckiest girls with some of the best friends in the world! Lets get down to business and talk about these outfit details. Is there anyone else out there that is so indecisive when it comes to making a purchase.?I have been wanting mirror sunglasses or blue frames for a while but I kept going back and forth about spending a lot on something that will probably go out of style within a year or two. I found these Spitfire sunglasses on Revolve for less than $40 and I was more than okay with spending that over $200! Now I think they may be one of my favorite pair of sunglasses I own! This jacket I scored from this company called English Factory. I had never heard of the brand before, but I was shopping on Rent the Runway and Shopbop when I came across them. There pieces are really beautiful and simplistic.  English Factory is a young contemporary clothing brand that caters to the trendy, modern woman. Los Angeles based, our design team reinvents classic silhouettes that are entirely unique and timeless, feminine, and innovative in style. Check them out!
