Hi friends!
Comin’ at ya with a quick round-up of some of my favorite wear to work pieces under $50 bucks! I always feel the best at work when I like what I’m wearing. As cliche or maybe even superficial as that may sound, I really believe that what you wear on a daily basis can really dictate your mood. Now obviously, not all jobs warrant the same type of wardrobe. However, I truly think that you should wear what you feel best in (as long as it’s professional haha) at work. At my last job, everyone dressed pretty casual. So much so, that if I ever wore a pencil skirt or blazer I was riddled with questions about “why I looked so fancy” or “if I was interviewing for a new job”. It got to the point where I stopped wearing what made ME feel good, and started to dress down solely to ‘fit in’ better. This put me in a real funk because I didn’t feel confident in my workspace, so I didn’t wear the clothes that ultimately helped me to feel confident in the first place! Definitely a weird/vicious cycle. haha
Lately, I’ve been in a little bit of a funk for a myriad of reasons. So I wanted to get back to what inspires me and makes me feel like a #bossbabe at work. I’ve been doing some online shopping today as a result (sorry Kyle! haha) and I wanted to share some of the wear to work pieces I found that are under $50! Some of these I already own, and some I recently hit “check-out” on so I’ll be stalking my door for the delivery guy for the next week now.
