The most versatile dress in my closet!

Happy Monday! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Rhys and I woke up and made this delicious Avocado Hollandaise sauce, with over easy eggs (because we don’t know how to make poached eggs haha), tomatoes and an english muffin. Such a perfect morning staying in making breakfast and watching the snowfall! After brunch we went to go see the Disaster Artist with James and Dave Franco. It was hilarious and I can see why James won an Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor. He was literally spot on to the character he played, Tommy Wiseau. What I am even more excited about tonight is the new workout Stacy and I are starting, Boxing!! I have been boxing a couple times before and I love it! We are so thrilled to partner with a gym called I Love Kickboxing (check to see if they have any locations near you) and we cannot wait to show you guys our progress over the next seven months! Get ready to see before and afters, videos, views on the workout and much much more!

A couple of things I love about this midi dress:

  • It comes in three colors (Camel, Dark Grey and Black)
  • It’s under $30!
  • It’s super soft and not tight!
  • It’s great for layering and a good transition piece from fall to winter or winter to spring!
  • You can dress it up or dress it down!
    • Styled with sneakers and a leather jacket for a more casual look!
    • You can wear ankle boots or over the knee boots depending on how cold it is!
    • And It would look so cute with strappy heels and a long duster coat, here and here

Recently my mom let me borrow a long wool haired camel coat that she bought when she was dating my dad, so I love to wear this as a monochromatic look too.  Basically what I am saying is this dress is uber affordable and can be worn so many different ways! Those are my favorite kinds of pieces to buy, get more bang for your buck!

I remember as a little girl, when we would get dressed up or even just to go to church on Sunday’s my mom would make us wear berets in the winter. I hated them. They were so uncomfortable and awkward. I never felt like they ever really did anything to keep my head warm from the cold, but to my mom they looked good! Laughing now that twenty years later here I am eating my words. I agree that they still really don’t help to shield my head from the cold, but they sure do look cute! Plus it’s a fun way to add a little flair to your outfits. Hats are one of my favorite accessories in the winter. This beret comes is $28 and comes 12 different colors from Free People .

I recently wrote a post all about the “it” booties of the season. These exact booties from Zara are sold out, but I linked so many similar ones plus others that I thought were adorable! You can check out that post here and shop some of my favorites!

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of your evening and wish Stacy and I luck at boxing tonight! Hoping we will be able to document our first class with I Love Kickboxing on our insta stories!

I love the whole outfit! Your dress is now on my must-have list. You are right about its versatility. It can be dressed up or down depending on the shoes, jewelry, etc. And mom was right about the beret. It looks AWESOME and finishes your look! 🙂

I love the bare most, never heard it called that! Thought it was just a fancy beanie. The red is beautiful with the camel dress.
